Green Tea Blues

I’m sitting at the office, drinking green tea and listening to the blues. There’s a crispness in the Chicago air now — somewhere between fall and winter — and it feels like the perfect weather to start drinking hot tea or cider, curl up next to a fire and read a good book or draw. I told Amber that we should take a break from working on the house and go for a brisk walk at our favorite nature center on Sunday. I called up the park and apparently they’re having a little event that day — they’ll have the farm animals out for people to pet and feed, they’ll be serving hot cider, and a band will be playing folk music. Sounds perfect.
